Truck Driving Schools
There are literally hundreds of truck driving schools across the country, each with different programs.  As with any business, there are good ones and there are bad ones.  But you have to know what to look for in a trucking school.
  There are essentially
three different types of truck driver training programs.  The first is a private school, the second is a public institution and the third is a training program run by a motor carrier.

Truck Driving Job Options & Choices
Not All Truck Driving Jobs require an extended stay away from home. Most companies offer many options to the well known over the road truck driver job that many people are common with.
The options can be as varied as the company you work for, some people may choose to be away from home as week or less, others may choose to be away from their home two to three or more weeks depending on their situation. Others may choose to be
home nightly, daily or whatever the case may be,again the options are what type of account you decide to accept /  run.
You must realize that of course the
longer you are away the more money you will make, however you will also have extra spending that you will incur in doing so, food, amenities, etc., Most of your trucking companies pay by what they call a "trip",
so until you have completed a haul of the freight or whatever, you will not receive any pay.
The longer the trip, the more the pay of course, a trip being calculated in the miles drove to where you have completed and dropped the load.
Other trucking companies that offer local truck driving jobs will sometime offer an
hourly rate in which you will be paid, which at times can be equal or more to what you can be offered for an over the road job but with daily home time.

Below you will see the many option of truck driving jobs that are available
