Truck Driving Schools
   There are literally hundreds of truck driving schools across the country, each with different programs.  As with any business, there are good ones and there are bad ones.  But you have to know what to look for in a trucking school.
  There are essentially
three different types of truck driver training programs.  The first is a private school, the second is a public institution and the third is a training program run by a motor carrier.

Stevens Transport's average annual income for a first year student is $30,000 to $32,000. We offer TUITION REIMBURSEMENT (payback) for graduates from independent training schools only if Stevens Transport is the first employer after graduation. After your first month of employment, payments up to $100.00 per month will be paid to you or the lender for your school tuition. Payments will continue until your tuition has been reimbursed up to $5,000.00 or employment ends with Stevens Transport.

After graduation, you will go through an abbreviated orientation, at our expense, taking place at our world headquarters in Dallas, TX. Upon completion, you will be hired to go over the road (OTR) and into our 8-week training program, earning a weekly salary.

After successfully completing this OTR training program you will be assigned you're own truck (no slip seating) running solo earning mileage pay, fuel bonus, variance bonuses, load/unload, and extra stop/pickup pay.
